This is a high-end chess set featuring Disney characters.

I purchased it about 18 years ago from the "World of Disney" section in Disneyland, California, where they sell high-end merchandise. It was a particularly luxurious item that caught my eye. It cost around $1,000 at the time.

The board features a damasquinado design with Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney characters, making it a genuine piece, not simply a easy gift item.

Damasquinado is a gold inlay technique originating from Toledo, Spain. The fact that the gold shine hasn't changed since I bought it is proof of its purity.

This is a genuine chess set made by Anframa, a company from Spain.
The pieces are also made of metal and have a substantial weight, giving a satisfying feel. Each piece has a one-of-a-kind design, making it enjoyable to simply admire.

I've been a fan of Disney merchandise and have collected it over the years, but I'm selling this piece as part of a collection clean-up.
It's unused and has been stored in its original box, which is included.
