Vintage carved ivory Indian-motif salt and pepper shakers

Pre-1950 carved ivory salt and pepper shakers crafted in India. Hand-sculpted adorable spice vessels, each with a sweet yet ironic scene depicting Indian (Asian) elephants. Most of the above photos faintly but proudly show the Schreger lines fabled in song and story. Toward the end of picture series, you will note a chip fracture along the lip at the top of one of the shaker’s tops. ideal for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
